Waiting for the Boat

A portion of Tivoli Gardens includes kiddie rides, roller coasters, many of the standard amusement park rides. Since we were not riding nor were we putting children on to the rides, the scenery was more likely to catch the eye. Be it a line of birds sitting on a small dock and looking as if they are awaiting a boat ride, or whether it be a beautiful line of Danish flags flying in the brilliant blue sky, it was a pretty place to be. It also featured gift shops that yielded some presents for the grandchildren.
