Our arrival in Copenhagen on a Sunday morning was exciting -- we were off on the adventure of the cruise. The most noted landmark that all tourists expect to see is The Little Mermaid, so the tour bus took us there first.
And she is little. She is smaller than life size, place atop a rock, and if not for the throngs of people and the lines of the tourist buses, she might not be easy to find.
Across the harbor from the Mermaid is a government building which reminded me of a chess piece, standing strong in the morning haze. Perhaps a hint of the royalty that is still quite active in Denmark. In the next post, a look at a royal residence.

Feel free to let me know what you think. It is exciting to think that some of my photography might be enjoyed by others.
