Prince Edward Island

En route to the St. Laurence Seaway, we stopped at Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, a quaint town with a beautiful cathedral up a hill.  Our guide for the walking tour was dressed as she would have been in 1864.  A pleasant day.

Our day in Halifax, Canada, was the 200th Anniversary of the Declaration of War in the War of 1812, a war I always thought of as Revolutionary War II The Sequel.  The guard at the Halifax Citadel wore an 1812 uniform in commemoration of the date.
