McKinley andAdams: Great Ones

My favorite picture from the Alaska trip became my favorite Ansel Adams-style picture, filled with detail and a strong attempt to catch the majesty of geography.  It matches my favorite quote from the Adams book.  In fact, it will lead off my next Poster eBook in the category of Creativity and Motivation, which will be subtitled 'Embracing the Outer World.'

Ansel Adams Poster

In 2010 I read a book about Ansel Adams and his great landscape work and I followed up by developing a method to process some of my pictures into a semblance of his style.  I did over a dozen pics and turned them into an eBook "In the Style of Ansel Adams."

This week I read his 1980 book on The Camera, and even though his camera was filled with film and mine is filled with electronics, I did gain several insights and concepts that should help me going forward.  And I found two quotes I really liked, one of which is here . . . on my photo processed in Adams style.  Enjoy.
