A sunny Sunday recently included a stop at DuPage County Airport for a static display of some pretty impressive aircraft. Here we see a sharp fight plane which looks fast while standing still, followed by the two stars of the show: a B-17 bomber and a B-24 Liberator. Both saw action in World War II. The B-24 is apparently the last Liberator still in flying order.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8c-byiAfiXfc_D9V8sRqQ373349_ZjcnJUkx2qcmd_3xisvpcRR5panztkfmGquLQpbEl-qdgL4IfOs52dbfE0Es9pqxECxWW4_j9ZrUpwJjaW36nHvWyArqmA7amioYK6ii4DsI6M8U/s400/DuPage+Airport+2010+003.JPG)

Feel free to let me know what you think. It is exciting to think that some of my photography might be enjoyed by others.
